昨天晚上小编跟朋友去吃了一家泰国菜

也太难吃了吧！

我俩心里苦啊

明明之前去吃的泰国菜

都还蛮不错的呀

那肯定就是昨天那家店

不太ok的原因了

用英语怎么说呢

你不会还在说

It tastes bad吧

“难吃”最常见的口语表达是

It tastes bad.

It doesn’t taste good.

It tastes horrible.

上面三句都是这东西好难吃的意思，如果你想形容的极端些，想表达你吃到的东西令你反胃或者这道菜看起来就没什么食欲，可以用disgusting或revolting来表达令人厌恶，恶心的意思。

例：

That dessert tastes disgusting!

那个甜点可真难吃！

I wouldn’t eat that. I’m sure it’d be revolting.

我不会吃那个的，我敢肯定它很难吃。

关于难吃

1. yukky 难吃的，恶心的，讨人厌的，不愉快的

Where did you get this food? It was yukky.

你从哪里弄了这吃的？那么难吃。

2. doesn’t taste good/ tastes bad/ tastes off/ tastes funny/ tastes horrible 很难吃，味道很怪，味道不太对，味道很糟糕

例：

It tastes a little off. 这个东西味道不太对。

Left a bad taste in my mouth 在嘴里留下了不好的味道

它可以指真正的食物，很不好吃留下了不好的味道。也可以用来指某人做了一件让你很不舒服的事情。

例：

I think we all felt he’d been treated very unfairly and it left a bad taste in our mouths.我们都感受到他的不公平待遇了，这让我们感觉很不好。

3. like cardboard

cardboard真正意思是“硬纸板”；中文有类似的比喻：味同嚼蜡，用来形容不好吃的食物。

The bread tastes like cardboard.

这种面包味同嚼蜡。

4. unsavory

savory是“带有香味的”，延伸为“美味可口的”；英语中相对比较礼貌、委婉的说法。

例：

The noddle is unsavory.

这面煮得不好吃。

5. poorly cooked

poorly在此指的是“不充分的”，即“煮得不够好”。

例：

The dishes were many, but they were all poorly cooked.

菜很多，但烧得都不好吃。

6. the pits

pits基本意思是“坑”；形容 “the worst”（最糟糕的地方），年轻人的流行用语。

例：

The food in our dining hall is the pits; I almost threw up.

饭堂的菜真难吃，我差点要吐了。

A fall into the pit, a gain in your wit.

吃一堑长一智。

2 not good/ tasty/ delicious

3 unpalatable

4 unappetizing

难吃的原因

1. 没有味道，太淡

bland（还能用来表达人或事平淡无奇，乏味）

tasteless（能用来强调品味）

flavorless 无滋味的（flavorful，表示味道很好，很可口）

1）表达味道很淡

例：

The wine tastes as bland as water.

这红酒味道淡如水。

The fish was mushy and tasteless.

鱼是糊状的，而且还没味道。

2）表达乏味

例：

Pop music these day is so bland.

现在的流行音乐太令人乏味了。

3）形容人的性格

例：

He is a bland person.

他这个人很沉闷。

4）表达品味

例：

The film is tasteless, vulgar and even badly shot.

这电影毫无品味，粗俗，拍的还烂。

喜欢开玩笑的朋友或许可以用到下面这个短语：

In bad taste: 不礼貌，粗俗

如果不小心说了一个bad joke冒犯到别人：

Sorry, that joke was in bad taste. 抱歉，那个玩笑有点不礼貌。

2. 酸臭的 sour

例：

The milk turned sour.

牛奶变酸了。

3. 煮过头的 overdone/overcooked

例：

The chicken was overcooked and dry.

鸡肉做的太干又太熟了。

4. 没煮熟/欠火候的 undercooked

例：

People can become infected after eating raw or undercooked meat.

人们如果吃了生的或者未煮熟的肉会很容易被感染。

5. 变质的，不新鲜的 stale

例：

Bread goes stale very quickly.

面包很容易变质。

6. 肉太老，没熟

undercooked/ underdone: do not cook enough

水果没熟

I’m afraid this mango is a bit unripe. They’re not really in season at the moment.

unripe:not ready to eat;

ripe:being produced and ready and available

7. 过期

This milk has gone off. I think we should throw it out.

这瓶牛奶过期了，我们还是扔掉它吧。

关于好吃

1. yummy 好吃的，美味的

I think I’ll have some more of that yummy chocolate cake.

我想再多吃点那个好吃的巧克力蛋糕。

2. mouth-watering 令人垂涎欲滴

The many mouth-watering desserts of France are based on fruits.

法国里许多令人垂涎欲滴的甜品都是以水果为基调的。

3. scrumptious 绝妙的

What a scrumptious meal!

这是多么美味的一顿料理！

4. lip-smacking

smack 意指“拍打”、“猛击”

smack your lips也就是吧唧嘴的意思，肯定是吃到好吃的东西才会让人想要吧唧嘴啦，所以这个词可以用来形容食物诱人好吃，不过在吃饭时最好不要这样，感觉有点不太礼貌~

例：

The roast duck is very lip-smacking.

这道烤鸭很好吃。

5. finger-licking good

它曾经是肯德基的广告语，直译过来就是舔手指的美食，所以大家都借用这句广告语来形容东西很好吃，回味无穷。

例：

This fried chicken is finger-licking good.

这炸鸡好吃得让人回味无穷。

6. mouth-watering

这个词一看就很有画面感了，东西是有多好吃才会让人口水都要流下来了啊，其实它就对应着中文里的垂涎欲滴

例：

There were plenty of mouth-watering, delicious food on the table.

桌子上摆满了令人垂涎的美味食物。

但是这个词并不是味觉上的描述，而是着重在视觉上的，所以可以这样说：

Look at those mouth-watering cakes.

看看这些让人流口水的蛋糕。

7. out of this world

从字面意思来看是说：在这个世界之外，但其实它是英语口语里的一个常见俚语，表示好的不得了，多用在描述食物的好吃~

例：

The food grandma prepared for me is out of this world.

奶奶为我准备的菜真的太好吃了。

其实它还有“不切实际”的意思

例：

His idea is always out of this world.

他的想法总是不切实际。

4 not bad

1. 辣和不辣

hot, spicy VS mild

2. 太甜

sugary

sickly

3. 有机食品

organic fruit and vegetables（grown without artificial chemicals）

4. 加工食品

processed food（that has been treated with chemicals to preserve it or give it extra colour or taste）

5. 食物非常重口味而且很难消化

This dish is very stodgy.
